1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of dog walking services provided by Outline Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking any of our services, you (“you” or “the client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Outline Ltd offers dog walking and related services in West Auckland, Oratia, Green Bay, Titirangi, Laingholm and surrounding areas. Services include individual or group walks, on-leash or off-leash exercise (with consent), and pick-up/drop-off within designated areas.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date information about your dog’s behaviour, health, vaccination status, and special needs.

• Ensure your dog is microchipped, vaccinated, registered, and wears a secure collar with ID.

• Inform us immediately of any changes in your dog’s behaviour or health.

4. Health and Safety

We take every precaution to ensure your dog’s safety and wellbeing. However:

• We are not liable for any injury, loss, or illness that occurs beyond our reasonable control.

• Dogs must be non-aggressive and socialised. Aggressive behaviour may result in cancellation of services.

• If a medical emergency occurs, we will seek veterinary care at your expense and make all reasonable efforts to contact you.

5. Off-Leash Consent

Dogs may be walked off-leash only with your prior written consent. Even with consent, we will only allow off-leash walking in safe, approved areas and for dogs with reliable recall.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a fee.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

• If we cancel a service due to weather, illness, or unforeseen events, we will reschedule or provide a credit.

7. Fees and Payment

• Prices are listed on our website and may be subject to change with prior notice.

• Payment must be made by cash/bank transfer/time to pet app prior to or on the day of service.

• Late payments may incur a fee or suspension of services.

8. Keys and Access

If you provide us with access to your property:

• We will take all reasonable precautions to ensure security.

• Keys are stored securely and will not be labelled with identifiable information.

• You are responsible for ensuring safe entry and exit points.

9. Photos and Social Media

We may take photos or videos of your dog during walks for use on our website or social media, with your consent. Please let us know in writing if you do not wish your dog’s image to be used.

10. Limitation of Liability

Outline Ltd is covered by AA New Zealand third-party liability insurance for pet handling, which provides protection in the event of accidental injury, loss, or damage caused during the course of our services. However:

• While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure your dog’s safety and wellbeing, we are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or death except where directly caused by proven negligence on our part.

• Outline Ltd is not responsible for any damage caused by your dog to property, persons, or other animals while in our care, beyond what is covered by our insurance policy.

• In the event of an incident, clients may be required to cooperate in any claim process relating to the insurance.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if:

• A dog poses a threat to the safety of staff, other dogs, or the public.

• The client breaches these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
